Resort Village of Tobin Lake says no watering grass until after long weekend, issues water ban

The Resort Village of Tobin Lake is under a water ban for the long weekend.

A news release states that the ban was put in place due to an increase in demand, and to ensure they have enough water on hand in case of a water leak or power outage.

Residents are not allowed to irrigate their lawn, and anyone who doesn’t comply will have their water turned off for the weekend.

They would also have to apply to get water turned back on and pay any applicable fee.

The water ban begins on Saturday, and irrigation can resume on Tuesday.
