Two killed in highway accident north of Wadena

Two people have been killed following a motorcycle accident north of Wadena.

Local RCMP responded to a crash on Highway 35 near Hendon after a motorcycle collided with a cow.

The accident happened on Tuesday (July 30) at roughly 10:30 p.m.

Both fire and EMS also responded, however, the driver and passenger of the motorcycle were declared dead at the scene.

The two have been identified as a 45-year-old man from Spalding and a 51-year-old woman from Archerwill. Their families have been notified of their passing.
