Local murder cases continue through court system

Two local murder cases have been held over until next month.

Cody Chubey is charged with second-degree murder in the death of his long-time partner Danielle Dobersheck in Melfort in March.

His case has been held over until Sept. 9 to be spoken to, and he will appear via video.

A Naicam man charged in the death of a relative will also be back in court via video Sept. 9.

Kevin Swanson has been charged with second-degree murder after an injured man was found at a home in Naicam in May.
