No injures reported after early morning house fire

There is good news to share regarding Thursday morning’s house fire in Melfort.

Fire Chief Leonard Whitney told northeastNOW that everyone got out of the house safely.

“Damage was contained to (the) bathroom and two bedrooms on the main level,” Whitney said.

The cause of the fire has not been confirmed.

Crews responded to the fire on the 600 block of Burrows Ave. E. Thursday morning and were at the scene for over two hours.
