Police are investigating after several weapons were found in the playground of a school in Dillon on August 30.

Buffalo Narrows RCMP were told about three weapons, a knife, a sword and a hatchet, which were handed over to school staff after they were found.

Officers seized the items and said no injuries were reported to police. Buffalo Narrows RCMP continue to investigate.
