Almost two years after a man was found deceased at Muskoday First Nation, the man alleged to be responsible will appear for trial.
As per discussions held during last Friday’s pre-trial conference at Court of King’s Bench in Prince Albert, the jury trial for Chance Smith will commence on June 9, 2025.
He is facing a charge of second degree murder in the death of Wade Dreaver.
The investigation in June 2023, determined an altercation and argument had occurred between the accused and the victim at a home on the First Nation.
