Melfort Daycare Co-operative (MDC) is announcing a strategic restructuring to support its long-term sustainability and continue providing high-quality childcare for families in the community.
Like many childcare providers, MDC has faced recent financial pressures, and these changes mark a proactive step toward ensuring its future.
To better align with current resources and evolving community needs, MDC is optimizing its space and staffing across its locations. Adjustments include reducing childcare spaces to align with optimal staffing levels, reallocating childcare spots by reducing infant spaces while increasing spaces for preschoolers and enhancing scheduling to reduce overhead costs. These thoughtful modifications will allow MDC to focus on delivering an enriching environment that prioritizes both quality care and affordability.
