Mustang, Hawk, Bronco honoured in SJHL Players of the Week awards

A Melfort Mustangs is the SJHL’s MVP of the Week.

Reilly Kotai earned the SGEU MVP of the Week honours with three goals and three assists in just two games, wins over La Ronge and Battlefords.

Kotai had a hat-trick and six points in the Mustangs’ 8-1 win over the Stars Friday night.

Meanwhile, Mason Karakochuk of the Nipawin Hawks was named the Canterra Seeds Saskatchewan Player of the Week.

The Saskatoon native had three goals and three assists in just three games for the Hawks last week.
