Dec 9, 2024 | 10:02 AM

The Tisdale Trojans’ winning streak is now in double digits.

The Trojans have won 10 straight games after a pair of victories in Saskatoon against the Contacts.

Tisdale extended their streak on Friday with a comeback 5-4 double overtime win.

The Trojans were down 3-0 early in the second period before Taren Erhardt scored his first of the season to cut the lead to 3-1.

A Contact goal made it 4-1 but Pryce Thiessen made it 4-2 late in the second.

Eric Han scored early in the third to make it 4-3, and a shorthanded goal by Ramy Borowsky sent the game to overtime.

Sean Shiels scored the winner for the Trojans in double overtime to give Tisdale the win.

Jackson Dunn stopped 40 shots in the win.

The next day, the Trojans shut out the Contacts 2-0.

Wyatt Fleishhacker made 27 saves to earn the shutout for Tisdale.

Wyatt Jordan and Preston Hoppe each scored in the second to give the Trojans their tenth straight win.

Tisdale is now 12-5-5 on the season, just one point behind the Prince Albert Mintos with two games in hand.

Those two teams will square off on Wednesday at the Art Hauser Centre in P.A.

Tisdale will then host the Saskatoon Blazers on Saturday night, with game time at the RECPlex at 7:30 p.m.
