Hawks, Mustang named SJHL Players of the Week

A lot of local flavour in this week’s SJHL Player of the Week awards.

Ashton Hutchinson of the Melfort Mustangs was named the SGEU MVP of the Week in the SJHL, after netting three goals and three assists in three Mustang wins, as the team is riding a 12-game winning streak.

The Nipawin Hawks also have a big presence on this week’s list.

Conor Ryan of the Hawks is the SuperU Defenseman of the Week, with three goals and one assist in three games during Nipawin’s recent stretch of solid play.

Hawks forward Ashton Tait was named the Canterra Seeds Saskatchewan Player of the Week.
