White Fox woman facing drug charges

A White Fox woman faces multiple charges after a vehicle became stuck in a ditch.

Nipawin RCMP were called about a vehicle stuck in the ditch near Weirdale Dec. 20.

Smeaton RCMP found the vehicle, and discovered the driver left the scene on foot. The woman was wanted on a warrant for driving while disqualified from Saskatoon Police and was subject to court-ordered curfew conditions.

The suspect was found in a vehicle in Nipawin and was arrested. Police searched the vehicle and found 262 grams of cocaine, cash, and various pre-packaged drugs.

Dana McCulloch, 43, of White Fox has been charged with three counts of failing to comply with undertaking conditions, one count of possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, one count of possession of property obtained by crime less than $5,000, one count uttering threats, one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, and one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl.

McCulloch’s case will return to court in Nipawin Jan. 22.

The investigation continues.
