The Melfort Mustangs remain the second-ranked team in the country.

The Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Top-20 rankings released today have Melfort in the number two spot for the third straight week.

Melfort won both games this week and are 31-5-0-0 on the year.

They have won 20 of their last 21 games.

The Mustangs will host La Ronge on Friday night and head to Nipawin on Saturday.

The Greater Sudbury Cubs remain in the top spot. They have a 34-2-1-1 record on the season and haven’t lost since Nov. 7.

The Flin Flon Bombers are up four spots to number 15. The Bombers are 19-0-1-1 in their last 21 games and are nine points back of the Mustangs for the league lead.

The Weyburn Red Wings are an honourable mention in the CJHL rankings again this week.
