Fentanyl suspected in overnight overdose cases in Kelvington
Multiple overdose cases were reported in Kelvington Wednesday night.
Kelvington Mobile Health Services (KMHS) posted on their social media page they believe there was a supply of crystal meth laced with an unknown substance, possibly fentanyl.
They said ambulance services and hospitals in the area were extremely busy overnight treating and transporting multiple overdose cases.
According to KMHS, those affected initially complained of nausea, severe back pain, fever, and anxiety. After a while, the subjects’ blood pressure dropped, and they were treated for sepsis with a nor-epi infusion and antibiotics.
