Serious collision near Melfort

Melfort RCMP are on the scene of a serious collision on Highway 41

Detours are in place at the site of the crash between Ethelton and the St. Brieux turnoff.

RCMP say they have no more details as the investigation is in its preliminary stages.

Callers into northeastNOW say visibility was poor in the area.

Travel is not recommended on any highways in the Melfort area, as the Highway Hotline reports heavy snow, drifting snow, snow drifts, ice, and reduced visibility.
