Nipawin Fire Department deals with vehicle collision, structure fire, snowmobile crash

The Nipawin Fire Department (NFD) have been busy over the last couple of days dealing with a fire, a vehicle collision, and a snowmobile crash.

The NFD was called by Tisdale’s fire department to help deal with a large structure fire between the two communities early Thursday morning.

The afternoon before, crews were called to a “minor fender bender” on Main St., with both vehicles being able to drive away from the scene.

They also responded to a snowmobile crash in the RM of Torch River Thursday afternoon.

Firefighters assisted EMS and RCMP at the scene, and fortunately the rider only suffered some bruising.
