Northeast, much of the province under blowing snow advisory

Environment Canada has issued a blowing snow advisory.

Snowfall and wind gusts up to 70 km/h are making driving conditions tricky across Saskatchewan.

The Highway Hotline has issued a Travel Not Recommended designation for the Melfort area and some others in the province due to the reduced visibility, snow drifts, ice, and more.

Conditions are expected to improve this evening.
