Galen Harriman is Lightning Lotto winner from St. Brieux

The winner of the Lightning Lotto jackpot in St. Brieux has been revealed.

The Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) has revealed that Galen Harriman is the winner of the Lightning Lotto’s Jan. 22 draw, taking home $754,435.430.

Harriman said in the WCLC news release that he was shocked with the win, and figured he’d have a better chance of being struck by lightning than winning the Lightning Lotto.

“There were a few moments of silence and then I started slapping myself in the arm and face like, ‘Is this real?!’” he laughed. “Then I had to sit down.”

Harriman said his first priority after the lotto win is to pay off his house.

He said he may also tackle some yard projects, and that he would also like to pay it forward and donate more to the charities he supports.

Harriman purchased the winning ticket from the 50’s Diner and Variety in St. Brieux.
