Melfort Mustangs maintain their sixth place ranking in CJHL Top 20

The Melfort Mustangs are holding steady in the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Top 20 rankings.

The Mustangs are ranked number six in the nation for the third straight week.

Melfort won 4-3 over Weyburn at the Palace on Thursday and edged La Ronge 3-2 on the road Saturday night.

The Mustangs are now 38-7 on the season, six points up on the Flin Flon Bombers with two games in hand.

It’s a busy week for the blue and green, with games in Battlefords on Tuesday, and a home-and-home against Humboldt starting in Melfort on Friday.
