Three people in custody after shots fired in North Battleford and police chase
Three men are facing multiple charges after a police pursuit involving a stolen vehicle and a firearm incident that began in North Battleford and ended on Red Pheasant First Nation.
Last Friday, around 10:45 p.m., Battlefords RCMP responded to a report of shots fired from a vehicle in the city. No one was hurt.
Officers found the suspect vehicle in a parking lot on 99th Street, but the driver took off. Police turned on their emergency lights and chased the car south through Battleford toward Red Pheasant First Nation. They used a tire deflation device, but the vehicle kept going.
RCMP police dog services and the Saskatoon Police Service joined the search.
