Feb 25, 2025 | 10:29 AM
The man charged with murdering a woman on the Yellow Quill First Nation will return to court next month.
Twenty-six-year-old Cole Smokeyday faces a second-degree murder charge after 24-year-old Terrance Tony-Kishayinew was found injured at a home on the First Nation in August, and she was declared dead at the scene.
Smokeyday was in Melfort Court of King’s Bench on Monday for a pre-trial conference.
The continuance of that pre-trial conference will take place March 31.
