“Centre St. Drugs prides themselves on providing the highest level of patient care to anyone that walks through their doors,” a Chamber news release said. “Over the years, they’ve been fortunate enough to recruit and hire staff that shares the same values.”

RONA Pinecrest Lumber won the 2024 Retail ABEX Award, remaining locally owned by Chad and Kelly Tourand since 2019.

“Since the doors opened, customer service has always been the top priority of all staff members that have worked in the building [through] the years, and still remains the top priority today,” RONA Pinecrest said in the Chamber release. “Our team consistently looks forward to providing excellent service to Nipawin and surrounding communities.”

Nipawin Greenhouses took home the Agriculture Award Thursday night.

“At Nipawin Greenhouse, we like to say that we’ve been growing with Nipawin since 1946,” owners Ward and Kimberley Wood said in the Chamber release.

The greenhouse has grown over the years, and while there have been many changes, the owners said there are still some of the same flower and vegetable varieties there were from years’ past.

The Heritage Award was given to Twin Lakes Trail Blazers.

A group of snowmobilers in the area got together in 1979 to form the Codette and District Snowmobile Club, now known as the Twin Lakes Trail Blazers. They operate their clubhouse on Nipawin’s west edge, which also includes a shop with two groomers and three snowmobiles that help groom the trail system.
