City of Humboldt crews prepare for Alberta Clipper, aftermath
The City of Humboldt is preparing for the snow and wind as winter refuses to go away quietly.
An Alberta Clipper is expected to bring 10 cm of snow or more to the Humboldt area, along with wind gusts up to 70 km/h.
That combination is expected to make life miserable for motorists across the province.
Director of Public Works and Utilities Peter Bergquist told northeastNOW that the wind can play a larger role in a storm system than one thinks.
