CALGARY — Pittsburgh Penguins general manager Kyle Dubas will serve as general manager of the Canadian men’s team at the IIHF World Championship next month.
The tournament is set for May 9-25 in Stockholm, Sweden and Herning, Denmark.
Dubas, as director of player personnel, recently helped the Canadian team win the championship at the 4 Nations Face-Off. He also served as associate GM at the 2024 world playdowns.
Dubas will be supported by player relations adviser Ryan Getzlaf and Scott Salmond, the senior vice-president of high performance and hockey operations, Hockey Canada said Thursday.
