House fire in RM of Torch River results in no injuries

The Nipawin Fire Department (NFD) responded to a house fire Thursday night.

The blaze happened in the RM of Torch River just before 9 p.m. west of the old bridge.

Crews were forced to cool a nearby diesel fuel tank while attacking the fire, and they also managed to contain hot spots in the roof and under the house.

Thankfully, there were no injuries, and crews were back in Nipawin a couple hours later.
