Nipawin Fire Department responds to single vehicle crash, quad fire

Fire crews in Nipawin were kept busy over the long weekend.

The Nipawin Fire Department responded to four calls within 15 hours on Saturday.

One was a motor vehicle collision east of Nipawin on Highway 55 Saturday morning.

Fortunately, there were no injuries.

Crews also responded to an ATV fire north of White Fox that afternoon.

Other calls included an alarm service request and a false alarm.

The department has responded to 58 calls so far in 2025, while at the end of April last year they had responded to 56 calls.
