Grass fire in Nipawin area has fire department issuing caution

A grass fire near Nipawin has the fire department cautioning residents to be careful due to the dry conditions.
The Nipawin Fire Department was called just before 9 p.m. on Sunday to a grass fire in the RM of Nipawin.
“Just a reminder to everyone, even though there’s still snow on the ground in several places, the grass is already bone dry,” said the department in a social media post.
They ask everyone to exercise caution during outdoor activities until the area gets some rain to make things greener.
