Local areas lift fire bans ahead of long weekend

Some good news for the upcoming long weekend.
A handful of local municipalities have rescinded their fire bans.
The Towns of Nipawin, Kelvington, and Hudson Bay, the Rural Municipality (RM) of Bjorkdale No. 426, the RM of Kelvington No. 366, and the RM of Porcupine Plain No. 395 have all lifted their bans after some recent rain.
However, most other fire bans are still in place, while others have been downgraded to just having restrictions.
