RCMP looking for possible rollover occupant in Rose Valley area

May 26, 2025 | 3:39 PM

UPDATE: The RCMP have revealed that Calvin Paquachan has been located and is safe. The investigation into the rollover continues.

Rose Valley RCMP were called to a rollover and are trying to determine what has happened to the occupant.

They responded to the rollover on Grid Road 2121 at the Pipestone Creek Bridge, about seven kilometres north of Highway 49, just after 7 a.m. on Monday.

The vehicle was empty when officers responded, and RCMP are searching the area with the assistance of Police Dog Services and a Remotely Piloted Aircraft System.

They say 36-year-old Calvin Paquachan may have been a potential occupant, and RCMP want to locate him to “confirm his safety and well-being.”

Investigators want to talk to him to see if there were any other occupants in the vehicle during the rollover.

Paquachan is 5-9, 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, and RCMP say he may be injured.

He is known to frequent the Kylemore, Fishing Lake First Nation, Wadena, Rose Valley, and Yellow Quill First Nation areas, but his current whereabouts are not known.

Call Rose Valley RCMP at 310-RCMP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) if you have seen Calvin or know where he is.
