Local fire ban list grows

More local municipalities have declared fire bans as the northeast continues to swelter under hot, dry, windy conditions.
The towns of Kelvington, Porcupine Plain, and Hudson Bay have instituted fire bans for the communities.
The latest Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA) Fire Ban Map indicated the rural municipalities surrounding those communities have also issued fire bans, with much of northeast, north-central, and east-central Saskatchewan under bans as the wildfire season continues to worsen.
