Gilbert Rozon, Just for Laughs founder, continues to deny allegations in civil trial
MONTRÉAL — Just for Laughs founder Gilbert Rozon is continuing to deny the allegations against him in his civil trial for sexual assault.
On the stand this morning, Rozon rejected the claims of two sisters who say he sexually assaulted them, one of whom is his former partner, Véronique Moreau.
Moreau says Rozon raped her when they were together, but Rozon says their relationship was always consensual and she was the love of his life.
Her sister, Sophie Moreau, says Rozon tried to kiss her and touched her inappropriately several times starting when she was 15, but he denies ever assaulting her.
