
Canucks ship goaltender Silovs to Penguins for forward Stillman, 2027 fourth-rounder
VANCOUVER — The Vancouver Canucks traded goaltender Arturs Silovs to the Pittsburgh Penguins, the team announced Sunday.
In exchange, the Canucks received forward Chase Stillman and a 2027 fourth-round draft pick.
Silovs, 24, is entering the final season of a two-year contract he signed with Vancouver last summer. He had nine starts in 10 appearances this past season, having a 2-6-1 record, .861 save percentage and 3.65 goals-against average.
Silovs also spent time with American Hockey League affiliate Abbotsford Canucks, where he had a 14-5-2 record, a .908 save percentage and 2.41 GAA, helping them win the Calder Cup.
