Prince Albert man killed after vehicle hits moose near Smeaton

A man from Prince Albert has died after his vehicle struck a moose.
Nipawin RCMP were called to the scene on Highway 55 just west of Smeaton Monday night.
A 50-year-old passenger in the vehicle was declared dead at the scene, and his family has been notified.
The woman driving the vehicle was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while another man in the vehicle was uninjured.
Nipawin RCMP continue to investigate the collision.
