Elevated E-coli levels at Kipabiskau lead to swimming advisory

A local beach is reporting high E-coli levels in the water.

Water samples have indicated an elevated level at Kipabiskau Beach at Kipabiskau Lake, just southeast of Melfort.

The water status advisory was posted on the Ministry of Health’s Healthy Beaches Public Map site.

The website indicated that a re-sampling of the water is in progress.
