Nipawin Fire Department called to multi-vehicle collision, car fire

Some more information on last week’s crash on Highway 35 south of Nipawin.

The Nipawin Fire Department said they were called to the three-vehicle crash Friday morning.

The department used the Jaws of Life to extricate one of the occupants of that vehicle.

They remained on scene to clean up debris and RCMP shut down that portion of the highway for their investigation.

Several hours earlier, the Nipawin Fire Department was called to a vehicle fire on Highway 55 between Red Earth and Shoal Lake.

The vehicle was already destroyed by the time crews arrived shortly before midnight.
