Trojans fall twice, Thunder and Wolfpack split weekend games

The Tisdale Trojans dropped a couple of games in Swift Current on the weekend.

They fell 5-4 on Saturday, with goals from Ramy Borowsky, Tristan Hanson, and a couple from Carter Hudyma.

Wyatt Fleischhacker made 37 stops for the Trojans, who lost 4-2 on Sunday.

Jacob Tait scored both Tisdale goals, and Jackson Dunn stopped 32 shots.

Tisdale is now 6-9-1, and they host Yorkton on Wednesday.

A split for the Carrot River Outback Thunder in PJHL action this weekend.

They dumped the Prince Albert Timberjacks 7-1 on Friday.

Dawson Malinowski scored twice, while Gavin Bodnarchuk, Rhett Lubda, Nolan Holmen, Kieran Hardie, and Chase Taylor had singles.

Hunter Nakonechny stopped 25 shots in the win.

The Saskatoon Westleys downed Carrot River 6-1 the following day.

Cash Aasen scored the lone Thunder goal and Dominic Smith made 39 saves for Carrot River.

The Northeast Wolfpack were 1-1 on the weekend as well.

They started with a 5-2 victory over the Martensville Marauders on Saturday.

Hayle Dennis scored twice for the Wolfpack, with Beau Hayworth, Colt Hrebeniuk, and Nixon Coleman also scoring.

John Gall was on fire in net, making 56 saves.

The Saskatoon Riverkings beat the Wolfpack 10-2 on Sunday.

Chase Skopliak and Taylor Coleman scored for the Wolfpack, and Kane Huston stopped 46 shots.
