Another trade for Melfort

Mustangs continue to tweak roster, sending Munro to Weyburn

The Melfort Mustangs have made their third trade in two days.

They have sent 20-year-old forward Will Munro to the Weyburn Red Wings for a second round draft pick, a Player Development Fee (PDF), and future considerations.

Munro joined the Mustangs last season and was third in scoring for Melfort this season, with four goals and 11 assists in 19 games.

The Mustangs and Red Wings will clash Wednesday night at the Northern Lights Palace.
