Mustangs hope to solve rival Hawks amidst three-game skid
Prior to late Wednesday night, it had been more than three years since the Melfort Mustangs were multiple games below .500.
With their loss to the Weyburn Red Wings two nights ago, however, it dropped the Mustangs to an 8-10-2 record, as their losing streak is now at three games.
Melfort will be in tough to end said slide, and try to climb back closer to an even win/loss split, when they host their most bitter rivals, the Nipawin Hawks, on Friday night.
The Stangs are 0 and 2 against the Hawks this season, most recently being shut out in Nipawin, 3-0, on Nov. 14.
