RCMP investigate armed robbery at Muskoday First Nation, name suspect

Prince Albert RCMP are working to locate a man who is wanted in relation to an armed robbery that occurred early Thursday morning at Muskoday First Nation.

A warrant has been issued for Brennan Sewap’s arrest.

The 36-year-old from Saskatoon is facing a number of gun related charges, as well as breaking and entering with intent, and disguised with intent to commit an offence.

Brennan Sewap has multiple tattoos of lettering, including script on the right side of his neck. He also has tattoos of guns on both his right and left hands. (RCMP)

At approximately 4a.m., RCMP received a report of a firearm discharged at a residence on Muskoday First Nation.

The subsequent Investigation determined three males wearing face coverings forcibly entered the residence and discharged a firearm and bear mace.

The suspects pointed a firearm at an occupant inside, demanded the victim’s belongings, including their phone and wallet.

The suspects then left the residence; their direction and method of travel is unknown. No physical injuries were reported to police.

Prince Albert RCMP are working to locate Brennan Sewap and are asking the public to report sightings and information on his whereabouts to any police detachment or Crime Stoppers.

“If you see Brennan Sewap, do not approach him,” they said in a statement.
