Busy hockey weekend across the northeast

It’s a busy weekend on the ice in the Northeast this weekend.

In U18AAA, the Tisdale Trojans have a tough task ahead of them.

They host the Regina Pat Canadians twice this weekend at the RECplex.

Regina leads AAA hockey with a 21-1-2 record and has beaten Tisdale in both matchups this season.

The Trojans are 9-12-1-0.

Saturday night’s game starts at 7:30 p.m., while puck drop on Sunday is at 2.

In the PJHL, the Carrot River Outback Thunder host the Saskatoon Royals at Kearns Arena on Saturday.

Carrot River is 9-10-0-1, while the Royals are 14-5-0-2 on the season.

Game time Saturday is at 7:30 p.m.

The North East U18 AA Wolfpack welcome the Saskatoon Screaming Eagles at the Northern Lights Palace in Melfort on Sunday afternoon.

North East is 5-8-0-1, while the Eagles’ record stands at 7-4-1-1.

Puck drop is at 3:30 p.m.
