Dogs likely stolen from RM of Willow Creek: Melfort RCMP

Melfort RCMP are investigating the likely theft of dogs in the RM of Willow Creek.

Police say three large dogs were taken from the owner’s yard sometime on Dec. 2 and have not been found.

The Central Asian Shepherds are an uncommon breed and are extremely valuable.

The dogs were wearing GPS collars, they are microchipped, and have identification tattoos.

Police believe it’s more likely the dogs were taken from the property rather than leaving themselves.
