Highway conditions getting worse across northeast, central areas

It looks like highway conditions are deteriorating across northeast and central areas due to the Alberta Clipper tracking across Saskatchewan.

According to the Highway Hotline, as of 5 p.m. Wednesday, travel is not recommended on Highway 35 north and south of Tisdale, Highway 3 between Melfort and Prairie River, Highway 23 between Arborfield and Chelan.

They also don’t recommend travelling on Highway 6 between Naicam and Raymore, Highway 368 from St. Brieux to Muenster, and all highways around Humboldt.

Expect difficult road conditions throughout the evening in much of the province, with strong wind and snow expected.
