‘I can provide insight’: retired city worker runs for council
A candidate for the City of North Battleford’s upcoming byelection aims to provide a new perspective at the council table.
Dan Suberlak said his 32 years of employment with the city helped him to understand how operations work.
“I’ve sat on the Saskatchewan Municipal Workers Executive for a few years. I’ve helped negotiate several collective agreements within the city. So, I have an understanding of working with the administration and even goals and getting things done,” he said.
Suberlak added, when it comes to aging infrastructure, he believes residents could soon face large expenses.
