Watson elects new councillor in byelection

Residents in Watson have elected their new councillor. 

Chris Gerspacher was elected with 72 votes, while Nathan Rempel received 30 votes. 

Gerspacher was born and raised in the community, and he owns CKG Automotive.

Meanwhile, nominations closed Wednesday for the open councillor position in Tisdale. 

That position came open after Mike Hill was elected mayor in November’s byelection.
