Thunder regular season wraps up; Trojans, Wolfpack also in action

In the Prairie Junior Hockey League this weekend, the Carrot River Outback Thunder will host their final two regular-season games. 

They welcome the Prince Albert Timberjaks Friday night and the Saskatoon Quakers in two must-win games. 

The Thunder are tied with the Timberjaks in the hunt for the final playoff spot in their division, and P.A. has one game in hand. 

Both games this weekend will start at 7:30 p.m.

The Tisdale Trojans are in Warman on Sunday as their U18 AAA regular season quickly winds down. 

Tisdale has just four games remaining, and they are two points back of the Saskatoon Contacts for the final playoff spot. 

Game time is at 2 p.m. 

The Trojans’ regular season will wrap up next Saturday in Estevan.

The North East AA Wolfpack will travel to Humboldt on Sunday. 

Puck drop is at 1 p.m. 

The Wolfpack hope to stop a five-game losing streak.
