Road conditions remain poor in the region

Update: Highway 20 reopens

Feb 17, 2026 | 11:11 AM

Highway 20 has reopened after a four-vehicle crash earlier today (Tuesday).

However, highway conditions are sketchy across much of the region, including along Highway 20 near Humboldt and on Highway 6 between Watson and Raymore.

RCMP say that driving conditions are poor in those areas, with near-zero visibility at times.

A heads-up to motorists driving in the Humboldt area.

Humboldt RCMP, ambulance, and Fire Department personnel are on the scene of a four-vehicle collision on Highway 20.

The road is blocked in both directions.

“The visibility on the highways surrounding the community of Humboldt is poor and we encourage motorists not to venture out until the weather improves,” the RCMP said in a news release.

Areas in central and northeast Saskatchewan could see up to 35 cm of snow with 50 km/h wind gusts over the next day or two.
