Two sibling farming operations nominated for young farmer award
Two brothers from Meskanaw, Sask. and siblings from Osage, Sask. are the finalists for the Saskatchewan Outstanding Young Farmers Award.
Beau and Cashe Stevenson are fourth generation farmers working alongside their father and grandfather at Hi-Lite Feedlot west of Melfort in northeast Saskatchewan.
The second nominees are also fourth generation farmers. The two brothers and a sister, Jordan Lynch, Keegan Lynch and Chansi Bourke grow cereals, oilseeds and lentils on 12,000 acres near Osage in southeast Saskatchewan.
The Outstanding Young Farmers Award will be presented March 19 during Canada’s Farm Progress Show in Regina.
