Theresa Thorsen is a Cree-Métis from Muskoday First Nation located within Treaty Six territory. As part of Indigenous Storytelling Month in Saskatchewan, Thorsen shared the story of Wesakejack and the Chickadees.
“The intention of the audio recording of this story and other stories is to validate oral tradition and storytelling as a way of learning and for cultural preservation,” she said.
