Tisdale Trojans season comes to an end after loss to Mintos

The Tisdale Trojans’ quest for the playoffs has come up just short. 

The Trojans had a chance to snag the final AAA playoff spot, but they dropped a 2-0 decision to the Prince Albert Mintos in their final game of the season. 

Tisdale sent everything they could on net, firing 56 shots. 

They just couldn’t beat Jaden Blanchette, who stopped each shot sent his way. 

With the loss, Tisdale’s season has come to an end, as they fell just two points shy of the Saskatoon Contacts for the final playoff spot.

The playoff matchups are now set. 

The top-seeded Regina Pat Canadians will take on the Contacts. 

Moose Jaw will face Battlefords, the Saskatoon Blazers are up against Warman, and Swift Current battles Estevan. 

The playoffs will begin this weekend.
