Hawks, Mustangs dominate SJHL Players of the Month list

The Nipawin Hawks and Melfort Mustangs dominated the Players of the Month list in the SJHL for February. 

The SGEU MVP of the Month is Nipawin’s Mason Karakochuk, after an impressive 12 goals and 12 assists in just 12 games. 

Teammate Eric Hoiness is the Bourgault Forward of the Month for February, with five goals and 15 assists in a dozen games. 

Gage Roberts of the Hawks is the co-winner of the SaskTel Goalie of the Month award.  

He went 5-2-0-0 in February with a 1.72 goals-against-average and .950 save percentage.

Bo Eisner of the Melfort Mustangs is the SuperU Defenseman of the Month. Eisner had five goals and nine assists in 12 games. 

Goaltender Kason Kobelka of the Mustangs is the SaskMilk Rookie of the Month, after going 7-0-0-0 with a 2.01 goals-against-average and .928 save percentage.
