Broncos commit former Trojans goaltender

Apr 3, 2026 | 6:00 AM

The Humboldt Broncos have committed a new player for the upcoming season. Humboldt native Wyatt Fleischacker will join the club for the 2026/27 campaign.

Fleischacker, a netminder, has spent the past two seasons with the Tisdale U18 AAA Trojans in the SMAAAHL.

In the 2024/25 season, the 18-year-old had a 2.69 goals-against-average and a .915 save-percentage in 21 contests, going 12-4. Meanwhile, this past year saw him with a 3.28 goals-against-average and a .903 save percentage, posting an 11-10-1 record.

In the pair of campaigns, Fleischacker also had four shutouts and appeared in a single playoff game.

“We are really happy to commit to Wyatt for next season,” said Broncos Head Coach Brayden Klimosko.

“Wyatt was able to practice with us the last couple of weeks of the season and is ready to make the step next year. With the unknown if Brady Holtvogt is getting a chance to play with PA, I wanted to make sure we had the crease covered — and Wyatt will do that for us.”

Fleischacker was selected in the fifth round of the 2024 SJHL draft. According to the organization, “he brings strong upside to the crease and has earned this opportunity through his work ethic and commitment to improvement, while also representing the next wave of talent, adding depth and stability to the goaltending position.”
